Congratulations to Preston Yancey from Bucklin High School.  Preston was the 2025-2026 first-place winner of the Voice of Democracy for VFW Post 1714 and went on to place 1st in District 7 and 1st at the Department of Kansas.  As the State winners he will receives a $1000.00 scholarship and go on to compete for the $35,000 National Scholarship.
